The Visa 1000 Pistes is an all wheel drive hatchback passenger car with a front mounted engine, from Citroën. Power is supplied by a single overhead camshaft, 1.4 litre naturally aspirated 4 cylinder powerplant, with 2 valves per cylinder that develops power and torque figures of 110 bhp (112 PS/82 kW) at 6800 rpm and 131 N·m (97 lb·ft/13.4 kgm) at 4500 rpm respectively. The Visa "Mille Pistes" was a four wheel drive version of the Visa homologated for the group B B/10 class. The production versions were known as the Visa 1000 Pistes 4 x 4 of which 200 were built for homologation in 1984. The Visa 1000 Pistes were difficult to sell with a price high enough for the time and eclipsed by the contemporary Peugeot rally cars.
